Have your say about your learning experience at QUT

The Learning Experience Survey allows you to give feedback on all your units and teachers via an online survey. Your feedback helps the University improve the quality of its courses, and also helps your lecturers and tutors improve the way they deliver their classes.

When do you complete the survey?

The Learning Experience Survey (commonly called LEX) is administered in approximately week 9 or 10 of each semester.

Survey dates for 2009

Semester 1 - LEX will be released from Sunday 3rd May until Sunday 31st May.

Semester 2 (to be confirmed) - LEX will be released from Saturday 26th September until Saturday 24th October.

How to complete the survey

To access the survey:

  1. Go to QUT Virtual at http://qutvirtual.qut.edu.au
  2. In the student messages box, a Learning Experience Survey message will appear
  3. Click on the link: “Complete the survey

To complete the survey, follow these 3 easy steps:

  1. Select a unit you wish to comment on.
  2. Select the teachers you wish to evaluate from the list provided on the screen.
  3. Complete the survey questions.

The survey takes less than ten minutes to complete and can make a world of difference, both now and for future graduates. View the sample LEX Survey MS PowerPoint to preview what the survey looks like.
